St Pete Rejuvenate has an amazing team, caring, professional and hospitable. I was anxious and scared prior to ketamine treatment. They always communicated well, made me feel safe and comfortable all the way through. They helped me with a very successful treatment. I would highly recommend them.

I am very happy my mother found St Pete Rejuvenate. CRPS was debilitating me to the point that I was not getting up or wanting to leave my home. They were very warm and attentive. My mother was very impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the facility. After the third treatment, I felt completely different. Like I had been reset and recharged. I continued a few more treatments. I regret not trying Ketamine therapy sooner. Thank you so much for having such great patience with me and being so caring,

I highly recommend St. Pete Rejuvenate for many reasons. The staff is skilled, attentive and very knowledgeable. The IV hydration treatment will leave you truly rejuvenated. They offer across the board skin care procedures, and top shelf skincare products.
The place itself is very clean, beautifully designed, and decorated. I had an amazing experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for such services.

The preferred route of administration is intravenously. An IV will be started when you arrive at the clinic and we will administer your infusion through the IV. This is reserved for patients who we are unable to provide an intravenous infusion for (e.g., a difficult IV stick or unable to place a peripheral IV for medical reasons).

how is ketamine administered?

Chronic stress weakens neural connections in the brain over time. Depression decreases the number of synapses (the connections between neurons) in the brain. Ketamine works directly to restore these connections. It binds to the NMDA receptor and releases a glutamate surge. This in turn releases growth factors, like BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor), which help make new synaptic connections and pave healthier thought patterns in the brain.

how does it work?

Ketamine is an FDA-approved medication that is commonly used by anesthesia providers for surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Ketamine helps to provide both pain relief and sedation. Ketamine infusions are not FDA approved for treatment of chronic pain, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, or fibromyalgia. Current research provides us with the data and evidence needed to know that certain conditions can be managed with the use of ketamine.

Why Ketamine Infusions?

PTSD is a debilitating anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive re-experiences of the traumatic events, avoidance of situations and stimuli that could serve as reminders of these events, and feeling jumpy or easily startled. Patients with PTSD are often also depressed, and many have significant memory impairments. Existing drug treatments are unsuccessful in a majority of patients, especially in those with combat-related PTSD.

Our aim is to test the effectiveness of a potential new drug for PTSD, ketamine. For many years, intravenous ketamine has been extensively used for anesthesia. More recently, using doses lower than those used in anesthesia, a single ketamine infusion was shown to rapidly reduce depressed mood as well as anxiety in patients with severe depression. Some clinical evidence of potential efficacy in depressed patients with co-morbid PTSD also exists.

“Chronic pain is one of the most underestimated health care problems in the world today, causing major consequences for the quality of life of the sufferer and a major burden on the health care system in the Western world,» said Professor Harald Breivik, President of EFIC.

Pain comes in many forms and affects people differently. In 2016, the CDC reported that nearly 50 million people in the U.S. are suffering from chronic pain and that chronic pain is one of the most common reasons for a person to seek medical care. Living with pain can lead to decreased functionality, decreased quality of life, and dependence on opioid narcotics for relief. But why continue to live your life battling the symptoms of pain or becoming addicted to opioids? There is new hope for battling the symptoms of chronic pain: ketamine therapy.

In recent years, ketamine has emerged as an alternative treatment for chronic pain with great success. Research suggests that the use of ketamine to treat chronic pain syndromes, especially those with a neuropathic component such as fibromyalgia and chronic regional pain syndrome, has been successful. At St Pete Rejuvenate, our team is dedicated to providing you with the most effective treatment regimen to combat the symptoms of chronic pain. Our expertise as anesthesia providers make us the most capable and competent to provide you with ketamine therapy. We have done the research and have developed our ketamine therapy protocols based on the current literature and proven results. Our consultation is always free, so call today to take the next step into the life you deserve to live.

Depression is a serious medical illness and is associated with increased rates of chronic disease and impaired functionality. According to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million people suffer from depression worldwide. Depression often affects women more than men. Despite effective treatment, depression can linger.

Living with depression can be isolating, but now there’s new hope with new treatment. Research has shown that ketamine can help with treatment-resistant depression. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with treatment-resistant depression, call to schedule your free consultation today. We work closely with your primary care provider to ensure we are making a coordinated approach to your care.
